Superconda Western Hognose Snake - Baby - #33273

Add a unique captive-bred reptile to your collection with the Superconda Western Hognose Snake. This morph is known for its reduced pattern, often lacking the standard dorsal blotches or spots seen in normal Western Hognose Snakes. Most of the remaining markings are concentrated around the head, giving it a clean and distinct appearance.

Superconda Western Hognose Snakes also feature a solid black belly with lighter-colored side walls. They stay fairly compact, with males typically remaining smaller and females growing larger as adults.

Western Hognose Snakes are generally calm and docile, though they may show classic hognose bluffing behaviors such as hissing, hooding, or playing dead when startled. They are rear-fanged with a mild venom used for feeding, so proper care and handling knowledge is recommended.

These snakes do best in a secure semi-arid enclosure with a warm basking area, cool hide, and diggable substrate such as aspen shavings.
