Orca Wood Catfish - #33136

Add a rare and fascinating freshwater fish to your aquarium with our Orca Wood Catfish. Known for their striking black-and-white coloration resembling an orca whale, these small, unique catfish are a beautiful addition to peaceful community aquariums and natural aquascapes.

Native to South America, Orca Wood Catfish are shy, nocturnal fish that spend much of their time hiding among driftwood, roots, and rock crevices. They become more active during the evening and nighttime hours, exploring their surroundings in search of food.

Orca Wood Catfish thrive in well-established aquariums with plenty of driftwood, caves, shaded hiding areas, and gentle water movement. Their peaceful temperament makes them suitable for community tanks with other calm, similarly sized fish. They prefer soft, slightly acidic water and stable aquarium conditions.

These unique catfish enjoy a varied diet of sinking pellets, frozen bloodworms, brine shrimp, and other small protein-rich foods. Feeding during the evening can help encourage their natural feeding behavior.
