Conwed 1000® Hydro Mulch Conwed 1000® Hydro Mulch, manufactured from recovered green woodchips, holds soil in place more effectively than 100% paper mulch and discarded waste wood mulch. When mixed with seed and fertilizer, Conwed 1000 Hydro Mulch® forms a homogeneous slurry that ensures an evenly distributed stand of grass. One 60 lb. bale of HydroMulch® wood fiber covers the same surface as 85 lb. of wastepaper mulch. This makes transportation easier and saves on the overall cost per project.
