The Royal Star Magnolia is a deciduous tree, so it will lose it's leaves in the fall/winter when it goes dormant. It gets beautiful, dainty, white flowers in the spring.

Soil: Needs well drained soil

Watering: Consistent moisture is vital, especially during the growing season. Deep watering at the root zone encourages vigorous growth and a bountiful harvest. We recommend a minimum 2 gallons of water every single day for the first 3-4 months. During the Summer trees need to be water early in the morning and in the afternoon, twice a day!
