Growth Rate: Fast.

Foliage: Bright emerald-green, glossy, willow-like leaves. The green variety is notably more drought-hardy than the purple-leaf cultivar.

Flowers & Fruit: Inconspicuous chartreuse or yellow-green flowers in spring, followed by highly ornamental, 3-winged papery seed pods that turn from green to tan.
