- Size: Tiny and compact, growing only to about 1 to 1.5 inches (2.5 - 3.8 cm) in length.
- Appearance: Features high-contrast, bold patterns of creamy white or yellow markings over a deep brown or reddish-brown base color.
- Lifespan: 4 to 6 years in captivity.
- Behavior: Strictly arboreal and nocturnal. They spend the daytime sleeping flat against leaves and become highly active at night, leaping and climbing.
- Enclosure: A vertical 10-gallon terrarium is suitable for a small group. Taller tanks are generally better since they are active climbers.
- Temperature: Keep the ambient temperature between 74°F and 78°F. Temperatures consistently exceeding 85°F can be fatal.
- Humidity: Needs a humid environment (75% - 80%). Daily misting with purified water is required.
- Diet: Insectivores; their diet consists of appropriately sized insects such as crickets, fruit flies, and small roaches. Dust feeders with calcium and multivitamin supplements.
